I note that Factcheck considers the silence of the GOP Platform on excepetions to the prohibition of abortion as porous.  They claim that exceptions are implicit in the lack of specification.  That makes no logical sense.  When the preacher says "keeping yourselves for each other and wholly from all others"  he/she is NOT implying  that you can personally make the ammendment  "except when you are out of town"  because that is not expressly prohibited!  I think every Republican knows what the platform means, whether the folks at Factcheck do or not.
