Among the books featured on the shelves to Senator Clinton’s right are the Annenberg Institutions of American Democracy, five volumes examining the pillars of democracy: the three branches of government, a constitutionally protected free press and universally available public schools.

The volumes, published by Oxford University Press, are a project of the Annenberg Foundation Trust at Sunnylands in partnership with the Annenberg Public Policy Center.
