    Instructional Accountability

Should students be given a detailed course description that outlines the specific skills and knowledge that they are expected to master in each class?

Should parents be given a detailed course description that outlines the specific skills and knowledge that their child is expected to master in each class?

Would giving both students and parents a detailed course description that outlines the specific skills and knowledge promote instructional transparency and accountability?

What are the arguments for such a practice?

What are the arguments against such a practice?

    Re: Instructional Accountability

Educational research supports the claim that high quality instruction is the primary factor in ensuring academic success for all students. Unfortunately, our schools have long struggled to achieve consistency in the provision of high quality instruction across all classrooms. And to my mind, this is a great idea that can avoid a lot of no credit check loans applyings. In order to achieve this goal, we must first determine what actually defines exemplary instruction, and ensure the implementation of an effective model for teacher evaluation and supervision, comprised of the essential elements that, in the end, will best serve to promote individual student academic success.
